What can I do on Sunday if I can't come to public Mass?
Although the obligation to attend the Holy Mass publicly is still temporarily lifted in the Diocese of Boise for those 60 and older, those who are immunocompromised, and those who have judged it prudent for their health and safety to stay at home, we are still called to keep the Lord’s Day. This should be filled by bringing a special attention to the day, praying the Holy Mass on TV or online, praying the readings, offering devotions and other prayers. The obligation to attend Holy Mass is removed, but not the Commandment to “keep holy the Lord’s day”.
Are there some resources you can offer me now?
For Mass online you can use EWTN in both the television and online versions at https://www.ewtn.com/, or search your favorite Catholic websites to see if they have links to live streamed Masses.
